Rivoram
Description : Rivoram (Clonazepam)is an antiepileptic belongs to the
benzodiazepine group.It has pronounced anticonvulsant properties that
shows a beneficial effect on focal epilepsy and primary generalized
seizures.Clonazepam potentiates the pre-and postsynaptic inhibitory
action of Gaba-aminobutyric acid in the CNS.
Indications: Rivoram is indicated for the treatment of the following diseases:
– Adult epilepsy and focal seizures.
– Most clinical forms of epilepsy in infants and children , in particular typical and atypical absences (Lennox syndrome), nodding spasms, primary and secondary generalized tonic – clonic spasms .
Presentation:
Rivoram 0.5mg tablets: Each tablet contains 0.5mg clonazepam USP.Blister packs of 30 tablets.
Rivoram 1mg tablets: Each tablet contains 1mg clonazepam USP.Blister packs of 30 tablets.
Rivoram 2mg tablets: Each tablet contains 2mg clonazepam USP.Blister packs of 30 tablets.
Rivoram drops:Each 1ml contains 2.5mg clonazepam USP, Bottles of 10ml.
Hospital packs of different sizes are available.
