Plants
The factory situated at Sahab is divided into four different plants, each for a specific group of products:
- Main plant
- Penicillin based formulations
- Cephalosporin based formulations
- Non-Cytotoxic Antineoplastic Plant:
- The most recent plant at RAM pharmaceuticals, was established in December 2021.
- This factory is specialized in the production of cancer treatment, hormonal-based therapy, and immunity-related treatments.
- The construction & investment in this plant aims to reduce the imports of these medications which will minimize the country’s treatment bill and achieve self-sufficiency in these products.
- During the first three years, 4 to 5 products will be manufactured which will save 40 M dollars.
- More than 10 products will be available in ten years.
